Switch on when you need it
Calling
Click a number to call it, and every call writes itself onto the customer's history.
“Calls happen on personal cell phones and nothing gets written down.”
Instead of: A separate phone system and a call log nobody fills in
Calling turns the phone number on a customer, a contact or a lead into a button. Press it and your own phone rings first; answer, and you are connected — so calls work the same on a laptop and in a van, using the phone number your workspace already sends text messages from. While you talk, a bar at the bottom of the screen shows who you are on to and how long for; when you hang up it asks what came of it, and the call lands on the customer's history with the outcome, your note and a follow-up if you want one. Calls you miss come back as a call-back list nobody has to keep in their head, and recording stays off until a workspace deliberately turns it on.
What you get
- Click a phone number on a customer or contact to call it — your phone rings first, so it works the same at a desk and on the road
- A bar at the bottom of every screen while you are on a call: who, and how long
- Wrap-up in one screen: pick what came of it, write a line, and set the follow-up before you forget
- Every call on the customer's history with who called whom, when, how long and the outcome
- Calls you miss become a call-back list with a due time, an owner, and one button to ring back
- Messages taken when nobody picks up, kept with the call and the customer they belong to
- Inbound calls sent to the person who owns the customer, to one named person, or round the team in turn
- Recording off until you switch it on, with a spoken notice, rules per area, and a delete button on every recording
- Talk time, answered calls and outcomes per person, per day and per customer
Who tends to switch this on
- Sales teams who live on the phone and lose half of it to notes nobody writes
- Owners who want to know how many calls went out this week and what came back
- Anyone whose customers ring a main number and end up with whoever is nearest the phone
Goes well with
People who switch on Calling usually switch these on too.
Sales Prospector
Find leads, work them through a stage pipeline, and keep every touch on the record.
Instead of: A lead list, a mail-merge tool and a reminder app
Support Desk
Tickets, a help center and live chat, all against the customers you already have.
Instead of: A separate help desk and a help-page website
Rules
When this happens, do that — written as a sentence, not a spreadsheet.
Instead of: Sticky notes, reminders and a connector service
Report Builder
Pick a category, a subcategory and the fields you want. Save it. Export it.
Instead of: Exporting everything to a spreadsheet to answer one question
