Asset & Equipment Maintenance
Every machine and vehicle you own, what it is due for, and what it has cost you.
Still building. Everything about your own equipment is built: reporting a fault, the job that comes of it, parts, cost, checks and the phone screen. What is not built is the places other parts of your workspace would show it — a machine that is out of use does not yet block a booking, a dispatch or a till, a customer cannot see their own equipment's history on a visit link, and a service agreement cannot be sold as part of a membership. What is listed below is what this part will do when it is finished.
“The service book is in the glovebox, the hours are in somebody’s head, and I find out a machine was overdue when it stops.”
Instead of: A maintenance app billed for every person who touches it, and a shelf of service books
Asset & Equipment Maintenance is the list of everything you look after and the record of what has been done to it. Keep the make, the model, the serial number and where it lives. Read the hours or the miles off it and we work out when the next service falls due — by the calendar, by use, or whichever comes first. Set a service up once for a whole category and put it on twenty machines at a time. Equipment your team is issued and equipment you service are one list, so the laptop somebody was given and the machine that is due an oil change are not kept in two places that disagree.
What you get
- One list of everything you own: the make, the model, the serial number, where it lives and what it is part of
- Equipment issued to your team and equipment you service kept on the same list, so nothing is recorded twice
- Meters for hours, miles, kilometers, cycles or a unit you name, with readings that cannot quietly go backwards
- Services that come round by the calendar, by use, or whichever arrives first, with a lead time so the job is raised before it is due
- A service set up once for a whole category and put on twenty machines at a time
- What is coming, worked out from dates and from how hard a machine is actually being used
- Warranty end dates and certificate expiries on the same list as everything else
- Equipment you look after at a customer's place kept on that customer's own record
- One price for your whole workspace, however many people record a reading or pick up a job
Who tends to switch this on
- Anyone whose work stops when a machine does: trades, farms, plants, fleets, kitchens and gyms
- Businesses servicing equipment at a customer's place as well as their own
- Owners who want to know what a machine has cost them before deciding to replace it
