All the parts you can switch on

Switch on when you need it

Venue & Events

Your buildings, the rooms in them, and everything you have on.

Still building. Your venues, everything you have on, and selling tickets for it on your own payment account are built. Picking a numbered seat, letting people in at the door, passing a ticket on or selling it on, a page of its own for a festival, and the figures a night made are not. What is listed below is what this part will do when it is finished.

“The dates are in a spreadsheet, what the room holds is in my head, and every stage time is on a different printout.”

Instead of: A ticketing site that keeps your buyers as its own, and a wall of spreadsheets

Venue & Events keeps the places you put things on and the things you put on in them. Every building with its address, its time zone, what it is allowed to hold and what you actually put in it. The rooms inside it, and the different ways each room is set out for a concert, a match or a dinner. Then everything that is on: one night, a run of nights, or several days with a lineup on each. Private events, events behind a password and events only the people on your list can see. It is one price for your whole workspace, however many people put a show together.

What you get

  • Tickets sold on your own website and paid into your own account, with no fee of ours on a single one of them
  • A short hold while somebody pays, checked again when the money lands, so the same seat is never sold twice
  • Your own booking charge, added on top or taken out of the price, with your name on it
  • Discount codes, codes that unlock an early sale, and codes that count what a partner sent you
  • Extras alongside a ticket — parking, a package, a donation to a cause you name
  • The questions you need answered, asked once for the order or once for every ticket
  • Free tickets for staff, performers and the press, drawn up by one person and approved by another
  • Every building you use, with its address, its own time zone, what it is allowed to hold and what you actually put in it
  • The rooms inside a building, and as many ways of setting out each room as you have kinds of night
  • Open areas, tables and private rooms with how many each holds, and a running total for the room
  • One night, a run of nights, or several days with a lineup on each day and stage
  • Events anybody can find, events only people with the address can open, events behind a password, and events only your list can see
  • A guest list per event, with how many people each invitation brings
  • A list of what is on for your own website, on any page, without sending anybody somewhere else
  • The times drawn in the venue's own zone, so a show announced for eight is at eight where the doors are
  • One price for your whole workspace, however many people put a show together

Who tends to switch this on

  • Halls, theaters, clubs, conference centers and sports facilities that fill their own rooms
  • Festival and event producers who run several days across several stages
  • Anyone running a run of nights who is keeping the dates in a spreadsheet and the details in their head
