Why us

Priced for the business, not for every head in it.

Most business software charges you every month for every person who logs in, and charges again for each extra product. We charge one price for your workspace, and one flat price for each extra part you switch on. Here is the whole picture, including the bits we are not good at yet.

The bit that catches people out

A per-person price is a tax on growing.

When software is priced per person, every new hire is a new monthly bill — and every separate product charges for that person all over again. That is why owners end up deciding who is “worth a license”, and why half the office ends up working out of a spreadsheet instead.

Two vans, an office, a bookkeeper.

Your bill changes when you switch on another part, and only then. What each part costs is on the pricing page, and you can see your own total before you sign up by building your setup.

Four real differences

What you actually get that you would not get elsewhere.

  1. 01

Pay for the parts, not the people

The core is one price for your whole workspace. Each extra part is one flat price for your whole workspace too. Hiring does not change the bill, so nobody has to decide who is 'worth a license'.

Most business software is priced per person, per product. Ours is priced per workspace.

  2. 02

32 parts other people sell as separate products

Staff records and time off. Hiring. Training and certificates. Stock. Suppliers and purchase orders. Commission payouts. Signed contracts. A support desk. Most of these are a separate subscription, a separate login and a separate list of your customers somewhere else.

One login, one customer list, one set of permissions across every part.

  3. 03

    Nothing rationed

Send as many contracts for signature as you need. Ask every customer how the job went. We do not count your signatures or your surveys and sell you more.

No monthly caps on signatures or customer surveys.

  4. 04

Build it yourself, before you talk to anyone

Check off the parts you want on one screen, watch the total change, and start a workspace with that exact setup. If you would rather talk it through, we are here — but you never have to.

No mandatory setup fee and no required onboarding package.

Side by side

The questions worth asking whoever you buy from.

Take this list to any demo, ours included. We have deliberately not named anybody: the right-hand column describes how the best-known systems are generally sold, checked against their own published prices.

  • What happens to the bill when you hire someone?

Here: Nothing. You pay per workspace.

Usually elsewhere: It goes up. The big systems charge per person, every month.

  • What does it cost to add one more capability?

Here: One flat price for that part, for everyone.

Usually elsewhere: Usually a whole second product, priced per person all over again.

  • Is there a setup fee?

    Here: No.

Usually elsewhere: The main mid-tier plans commonly require a paid onboarding package on top.

  • Staff records, time off and a timeclock?

Here: A part you can switch on, on the same login.

Usually elsewhere: Not usually part of a CRM at all — a separate system.

  • Hiring, from job advert to signed offer?

Here: A part you can switch on.

    Usually elsewhere: A separate system.

  • Stock on the shelf, and what is promised to a job?

Here: A part you can switch on.

    Usually elsewhere: A separate system.

  • Suppliers, purchase orders and getting bids in?

Here: A part you can switch on.

    Usually elsewhere: A separate system.

  • Support tickets and a help center for your customers?

Here: A part you can switch on, working from the customers you already have.

Usually elsewhere: Often a whole separate product, priced per person again.

  • Paying commission on what was actually sold?

Here: A part you can switch on, working from the same jobs your team already closed.

Usually elsewhere: Usually an extra product on the top plan.

  • Sending a contract for signature?

Here: Included when you switch that part on. No monthly limit.

Usually elsewhere: Often a higher tier, and commonly capped at a set number per person per month.

  • Asking every customer how the job went?

Here: Included when you switch that part on. No monthly limit.

Usually elsewhere: Often a higher tier, and commonly sold in fixed monthly allowances.

  • Can you try the exact setup you want?

Here: Check off the parts, see the price, open a workspace with them on trial.

Usually elsewhere: Usually a sales call and a quote.

We do not name anyone in that right-hand column on purpose. It describes how the best-known business systems are generally sold, checked against their own published pricing. Your own quote may differ, and you should always check it.

Where we are not the answer

What we do not do, so you find out now rather than later.

If one of these is central to how you work, say so on the first call and we will tell you straight whether we are the right fit. We would rather lose the sale than the customer.

No app to install yet

Every screen is built to work in a phone browser, and it does. But there is no app to download from an app store, and the bigger systems have one.

No app store of one-click add-ons

We connect to supported accounting software, calendars, mailboxes and phone providers, with step-by-step setup for each, and our own connection tools let other systems hear about new work and read what your added parts hold. There is no catalog of thousands of plug-ins.

Not built for a 500-person sales floor

A list of every live job with its running total, yes. Sales forecasts, territories, multi-level sign-off and the rest of what a very large sales organization needs, not yet. If that is you, the big systems are the right call.

Try the setup you would actually buy.

Check off the parts you want from the 32 on offer, see what it comes to, and open a workspace with exactly that. No setup fee and no onboarding package to buy.
